Mini Succulent Workshop

Join us at the Elizabethan Gardens for a discussion on succulents and the creation of your own succulent garden. Succulent plants refer to those in the families sempervivums, sedums, aloes, kalanchoes, echeverias, and other fleshy leaved species. Easy to grow, succulents evolved in some of the toughest places on earth, and are actually at their best when grown in hot sun and poor soil. Diamonds & Denim | Dinner Dance 2017

Dance and dine the evening among a sparkling scene of comfy elegance that glistens with blue gems and radiates excitement.  Wear your tried and true blue jeans for our annual fund-raising dinner dance. Join us as we celebrate 66 years of The Elizabethan Gardens.

Tickets are $65 for members, $70 for Non-Members. $100 VIP, Reserved tables of 8 for $800.

The Winter chill is starting to subside, it’s time to get out into the garden. Join us at the Elizabethan Gardens for a discussion, and hands-on workshop setting up and designing those dormant beds in the garden. Learn techniques in cutting, and setting up a bed, design layout, and planting of early Spring annuals.

The Elizabethan Gardens is located adjacent to The Lost Colony's Waterside Theatre and Fort Raleigh National Historic Park on Roanoke Island nestled near North Carolina's Outer Banks. The gardens are open year-round, seven days a week except certain holidays.
