There is much to be done behind the scenes including helping with mailings for special events, answering the phones and keeping track of all the details that keep The Gardens running. Volunteer in the Gatehouse and Giftshop … greet guests, check in stock and answer lots of questions. Many families volunteer together to help with tasks.

The Elizabethan Gardens is located adjacent to The Lost Colony's Waterside Theatre and Fort Raleigh National Historic Park on Roanoke Island nestled near North Carolina's Outer Banks. The gardens are open year-round, seven days a week.
