Regrettably tonight’s WinterLights for Saturday 1/20/18 is cancelled. Snow drifts remain an impediment and our horticulture collection has sustained some damage. Our tree-shaded paths melt very slowly. And using salt is not an option for the health of our plants. For the safety and enjoyment of our guests we will not host the lights tonight. We are exploring options to extend the lights another weekend. (Stay tuned and hope for optimal weather conditions then.) If you purchased tickets on Yapsody a refund will be processed automatically for you. If you purchased through the Gardens please call or email for a refund. Info@elizabethangardens.org
Fanciful and elaborate gardens were kept to entertain Queen Elizabeth I during her reign. Our garden was created for your enjoyment, and as a living memorial to the time when Sir Walter Raleigh’s lost colonists lived in this very place over 400 years ago. The Elizabethan Gardens is a project of the Garden Club of North Carolina.
