Homeschool Mornings at the Gardens

Second Wednesday of each month at 11am, September-November

Explore nature at the Elizabethan Gardens with your homeschool student. Homeschool Mornings offer school-age children the opportunity to participate in self-guided learning activities at various stations throughout the Gardens. Each month your child can discover a new science-based theme that takes them on a journey to investigate plants, the forest, and the environment.

Homeschool Mornings and associated activities are recommended for children ages 6-11 (Kindergarten to 5th grade). Program includes price of admission and a grade-specific, self-guided curriculum packet your child can complete while touring. There are a limited number of spots for each program and drop-in program attendees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wednesday, September 11th: Seed and Germination Exploration
Wednesday, October 9th: What is Inside a Tree?
Wednesday, November 13th: Forests at Night
